About Me

My passion for sparking positive change started in high school when I raised money for children's cancer fund. During college I worked at a summer camp for developmentally disabled adults and children, helping young people learn hospitality skills.

After college I joined the Peace Corps, serving as a community development volunteer in a rural community in Senegal. When I returned to the US, I enrolled in an MBA program in Nonprofit and Public Management in Boston. During my studies, I worked at a regional bank in their charitable contributions department, collaborating with bank managers to help low income communities. At an internship in San Francisco, I was the operations manager for a program that trained former prisoners in horticultural and life skills. Upon graduation, I was offered a position at one of the first strategic philanthropy consulting firms in the country, where I designed and developed strategic social change initiatives. 

I completed the Awaken Coach Institute All-in-One Coach Certification Program and received my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). 

I am an author of the novel, When the Universe Pivots, a work of historical fiction, and practice healing arts, (Mindful Self-Compassion, Qi Gong, and meditation) take nature hikes, ice skate, bike, bake, read, travel and enjoy stimulating conversations with family and friends.
